I have trouble believing that God sends me difficulties for my benefit, but what I DO believe is that God can and will turn everything to my benefit. When I really settle into that belief, that’s when I feel the most powerful in my life.
All the people around me are teachers showing me where I can grow. They’re going to be there anyway, doing whatever they decide to do. They aren’t in my control. I may as well learn what I can and become who I want. That way, I’m not in their control either.
I’m the hero.
